In three years of helping our clients increase traffic to their websites, I have never seen as great an opportunity for targeted web site traffic as there is right now. In 1999, we began to place pay for click links if for no other reason, than to get additional links into the sites we were applying our traditional search engine optimization strategies for; to increase web traffic was a secondary goal because there wasn't a lot of web site traffic back then.
Fast forward in time to today. The jury has returned. Paying for relevant links at high traffic portals is a winner ! Consumers like it because they get good searching results. E-businesses like it because they get targeted, highly interested visitors ! It works much better than banner advertising because it fits the consumers psychology of "the search". |
